
100 DAYS IN OFFICE: ASLG BOSS, MAJEKODUNMI, EMPOWERS ARTISANS, COMMISSIONS NEW OPEN STALLS

The Executive Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government, Ake, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi, JP, has again, empowered artisans across the Council Area.
The Chairman who distributed tools that will aid their service delivery, distributed books to Pupils in the Local Council Area, and also commissioned New Open Stalls at Itoku Market on Thursday, 18th November, 2021 as part of activities commemorating his 100 days in office.
Speaking at the event, held at the Council Secretariat, Hon. Majekodunmi expressed his administration’s commitment to the growth of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMSEs) as a pivot to economic development of the Council Area.
Earlier, the Commissioner for Local and Chieftaincy affairs, Hon. Moruf Afuape expressed enthusiasm on the projects executed within the short frame of 100 days, he stated that, he was very proud of the Chairman’s strides in putting smiles on the faces of both the electorates and entire residents of the Area.
He added that the gestures extended to the residents of the LGA is in line with the vision of Ogun State Governor, His Excenlency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, in developing the State.
He however, encouraged the Council boss to continue his good works while laying the foundation of four Blocks of Lock-up shops at the Secretariat.
In his own remarks, former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly who represented Abeokuta South Local Government Constituency II in the 7th Assembly, Rt Hon. Titi Oseni-Gomez urged the recipients to make judicious use of the vocational equipments.
Mrs. Adesanya Adeola Sakirat who spoke on behalf of the recipients, appreciated the Executive Chairman for the kind gesture.
She promised on behalf of others, that the Vocational Tools and Financial support given to them which are stimuli to boost their business performances and service delivery, will be effectively utilized.
