100 DAYS IN OFFICE : OBAFEMI OWODE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DISTRIBUTES EXCERCISE BOOKS TO PRIMARY SCHOOLS

As part of the activities marking 100 days in office of Ambassador (HON.) Ogunsola Adesina led administration in Obafemi owode Local government, has distributed 40 leaves Excersice books to Public Primary Schools in the Council Area .

The distribution which was done in the three(3) zones that makes up the local government led by the representatives of the Chairman in which the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Kehinde Akinsola headed Oba zone; Hon. Moshood Ibrahim -Owode zone and Hon Olaosebikan Oludayo Obafe zone.

The following Public Primary Schools were chosen as Pilot Schools: Ebenezer Anglican Primary School, Igbo-oya in Onidundun Ward; Obafemi Owode Local government Primary School, Imo-Ijiwo in Mokoloki Ward and Methodist Primary School, Oyero/Ake-Kosefe in Kajola Ward, respectively.

The Executive Chairman, Hon. Ogunsola Adesina said, he is highly determined to key into the educational programme of Ogun State government and also complementing the efforts of Ogun State government in its educational agenda.

 

He stated that, that is the main reason, he decided to produced and distributed free excercise books to pupils in the Public Primary Schools in the local government area and also to relief the parents in the cost of purchasing excercise books for their Children.

Ambassador Ogunsola therefore appreciated his Excellency,Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR for taking the lead while others follows.

The Council boss therefore enjoined all and sundry to join hands with him in building our future together particularly in the Educational sector as Education is the best legacy that we can bequeath our Children.

One of the Head teachers, Mrs Balogun Monsurat from Ebenezer Anglican primary school, Igbo-Oya appreciated the efforts of  the Chairman for taking Education as priority and prayed for the successful tenure of his administration.
