EASTER CELEBRATIONS: HON. DELANO REJOICES WITH CHRISTIANS

The Executive Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Hon. Chief (Mrs) Kikelomo Aridunnu Delano, has rejoiced with all Christians in the Council Area, Ogun State and Nigeria by extension, on the celebration of Year 2023 Easter festival.

She described Easter as a day that was dedicated to observing the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The Council Chief Executive Officer made this statement in her Easter message to all Christian faithfuls in the Local Government Area, she also said that the spirit of Easter is all about love and peaceful coexistence among ourselves while wishing them a season filled with joy, beautiful weather, smiles, sunshine and lots of sweet things during the celebration.

She however urged Christians to celebrate this year Easter with moderation and they should imbibe the spirit of forgiven one another as this was what Jesus portrayed during his lifetime.

She as well enjoined all the people of the Local Government to pay all their rates, dues, levies, and taxes promptly in a bid for the government to deliver the much needed dividends of democracy to the grassroots.
