ABEOKUTA SOUTH LG: HON. MAJEKODUNMI HOSTS WIVES OF ELECTED POLITICAL FUNCTIONARIES IN THE AREA

The Executive Chairman Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi has played host to the wives of the Vice Chairman and honourable Councillors of the Local Government for their support before and since his assumption into office.

The Chairman expressed his appreciation while playing host to the women in his office at the Council Secretariat, yesterday 20th, January 2022.

Hon. Majekodunmi stated that the saying, “behind every successful man is a woman is actually true and a manifestation of the unflinching support and loyalty of their wives”

He urged the women to continue to pray unceasingly for God to uphold them so that their efforts will not be in vain.

The Vice Chairman of the Council, Surveyor Iretiolu Shotayo and Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Adenekan Kazeem expressed their heart felt thanks to their spouses. They prayed that their efforts will be fruitful and they on their own part as public officers will not renege on their electoral promises.

They also thanked the Executive Chairman of the Council for the cordial relationship between the political functionaries and the members of staff of the Local government, since their assumption into office.
