ADO-ODO/OTA LG. BOSS BAGS TMnews SUMMIT AWARD

The Executive Chairman, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adewale Musa, recently bagged an award of Outstanding Political Personality of the Year, at the just concluded 9th TMnews Summit Awards 2021 themed: “Indigenous Role In Solving Social Vices” held at Chief Nasiru Dehinde Memorial Hall, Ota.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Sheriff Adewale Musa, pointed out some of the major causes of Social vices and how Indigenous people can help solve the problems.

He attributed the major causes of social vices to poor parenting and further stated that, through proper family planning the vices can be averted. He advised parents to give birth to a certain number of children they can cater for and nurture in terms of providing their basic needs and giving them proper education.

The Council Boss added that the society celebrated immoral activities in the name of reality shows where winners of these shows are being celebrated by generality of the public, while young Stars who are making the Nation proud through academic performances are left uncelebrated.

He said that religious and traditional leaders now rewarded people with questionable characters through titles and awards which are sending wrong signals to the up-coming youths, that  integrity no longer pays.

He advised all stakeholders to come together and tackle the issues of Social vices headlong.

Hon. Musa also appreciated the organisers of the TMnews Summit Awards 2021, for honouring him and many others with Outstanding Awards, as this gesture will further spur them to perform creditably well in other to serve the masses and develop the Nation as a whole.

The Publisher and Executive Producer of TMnews Magazine Comrade Temidayo Babalola, SPMIIM, appreciated the Nominees of various Awards and congratulated the Winners of the Awards for giving the society their best.

He said that, the 9th Summit Awards of TMnews is to honour and appreciate various people in their fields and for them to feel noticed of their efforts at developing the society.
