ADO-ODO/OTA LG BOSS CELEBRATES 100 DAYS IN OFFICE

Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Chairman, Hon. Sheriff Adewale Musa, a.k.a SAM 20, has celebrated 100 Days of his administration in glamour and glitz.
The Celebration took place at Chief Nasiru Dehinde Memorial Hall at the Local Government Secretariat in Ota, Ogun State.
At the event, the Chairman distributed branded exercise books to Primary School Pupils, as part of the Local Government Education Intervention Initiative.
He recognised and honoured the Pupils who came first in the Governor’s Cup, while his wife, Mrs Temitope Musa, empowered 50 widows selected from the 16 wards in the Local Government Area.
The Council Chairman, also laid the foundation of the Proposed Legislative Chamber for the Council’s honourable Councilors.
In his speech, the Chairman said “it gives me great delight to give back to the people who entrusted me, with a mandate to steer the ship of the Local Government in the past 100 days and for the next three years, has been a very gratifying experience. It has afforded me and my team an opportunity to impart positively on the lives of our constituents for which we could not be more glad”
“100 Days in office is not a grand celebration for projects executed, rather it is a crucial moment in the history of our administration and an important factor in determining the rest of our time in governance” the Chairman said
“As it is our passion to give back to our various communities, we have used the last 100 Days to forged a bond with our Corporate Community in order to establish a mutual understanding on Public-Private Partnership that will help deliver dividends of democracy to our people.
100 Days performance is not a time to look back, it is a time to look forward. With the support of our Corporate bodies and the good people of the Local Government, we are sure we will be able to deliver our promises and more.” the Chairman concluded.
The occasion was graced by a mammoth crowd. Dignitaries present are: The Vice Chairman of the Local Government, Mrs. Saidat Olatunbosun Animashaun; The Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. (Mrs.) Bukola Balogun and other Honourable Councillors; The Head of Local Government Administration, Dr. Adebola Bamgbose; Directors of various Departments, Political Leaders and APC Party stalwarts and other distinguished individuals in the Local Government Area.
