ADO-ODO/OTA LG. HOLDS CHRISTMAS CAROL SERVICE

Ado Odo/Ota Local Government, the local government of distinction under the leadership of the Executive Chairman Hon. Sheriff Adewale Musa held its 2021 Christmass Carol service in grand style on the 23rd December, 2021 at the Local government Secretariat, Ota.

Hon. Musa in his welcome address gave thanks to Almighty God for making it possible for everyone to witness the year 2021 Christmas Carol service despite the Covid-19 pandemic that has affected the economy of Nigeria and the world as a whole.

He further stated that, the celebration which comes once in a year is also expected to serve as a reminder to everyone’s responsibilities as individual to Almighty God and humanity as exemplified by the life, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Council boss read the first lesson of the day while assigned dignitaries took turn in reading the other lessons of the day.

The Golden Choir of the Council electrified the atmosphere with the presentation of series of Carol songs to the amazement of the gathering.

The Head of Local Government Administration, Dr Adebola Bamgbose appreciated the gathering for honouring the call of Ado Odo/Ota Local Government Christian Chapel in the celebration of the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

He also solicited for supports towards the completion of the Council’s Christian Chapel.
