Ado-Odo/Ota LG: Hon. Musa Flags off Free Dental Care

The Executive Chairman, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government,  Hon. Engr. Sheriff Adewale Musa, has flagged off free dental care in conjunction with Smile Pride Dental Clinic at the Council’s Secretriat, Ota.

Speaking at the event, the Council Boss disclosed that the gesture was part of his mandate to deliver dividends of democracy to his people in all spheres of life.

Hon Musa stated that, the Education, Examination and Treatment of the services were free of charge.

According to him, the program was organised in order to bring awareness to the people about the importance of healthy mouth.

He added that Smile Pride Dental Clinic team led by the Dr. Alonge Modupe are to cross examine the people on dental matters and give them free Education, Examination and Treatment.

Speaking further, Hon. Musa stated that the aim of his administration is to put in a deliberate effort, in line with the focus and targets at strengthening the economy, through people’s wellness.

The Director, Smile Pride Dental Clinic Dr. Alonge Modupe, lectured the gathering, on how to always use medium and soft toothbrush for children and elderly ones. She equally advised them to always use toothpaste that contain chloride to aid a better mouth and free from cavity.

At the event were; the Supervisor for Health, Mr. Obanla Wesu; Supervisor for Community and Social Development, Mrs. Ibikunle Tunrayo; Supervisor for Works Housing, Mr. Kamarudeen Aina amongst others.
