Ado-Odo/Ota LG Synergies with Ogun NSCDC on Security

The Executive Chairman, Ado-Odo/Ota Local government, Hon ( Engr) Sheriff Adewale Musa, has disclosed a proposed Security Trust Fund meant for Security operatives in the Council Area, in order to boost their performances.
Hon. Sheriff Musa made this disclosure, during the courtesy visit of the Ogun State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Commandant Kolawole Taiwo to the, Council Area, on Friday, 13th May, 2022 which coincided with the birthday celebration of the Council boss.
while welcoming the Commandant and his entourage, the Council Boss, Hon Musa, appreciated the efforts of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, in forming the much needed synergy with Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government in the area of protection of lives and properties within the Council Area.
He enjoined the State NSCDC not to relent on its oars at combating crime at all times, to reduce the high level of crime rates in the society.
Earlier speaking, the Ogun State Commandant, NSCDC, Kolawole Taiwo in his speech thanked the Chairman for creating time to welcomed him and his entourage at the expense of his ongoing birthday celebration.
Kolawole added that the Local Government has always aligned with Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, “the more reason the Federal Government gave adequate recognition to the outfit at the Federal level” he added.
He also said that the synergy between the security outfit and the Local Government which has been in existence before the recognition, at the Federal level will continue to bolster at all times.
The Commandant explained that the purpose of the tour is to state their readiness to protect lives and properties before, during and after the coming general election.
The Head of the Local Government Administration, Dr. Adebola Bamgbose in his vote of thanks, appreciated the efforts of the Ogun State Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps at combating crime at the local level.
He equally thanked the Commandant for
taking his time to tour the Local Governments in the State, which will further put the officers on their toes at all the times.
Present at the event included, the Director of General Services and Administration, Prince Oloruntoba Dada; Head of Information, Education & Sports, Mr. Alabi Sheriff and officers of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
