ADO – ODO /OTA LG:HON ADEWALE MUSA ASSURES KORO-OTUN, ITELE, AYOBO PROTESTERS ON POSITIVITY.

The Executive Chairman, Ado-odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adewale Musa a.k.a SAM 20 has assured protesters from koro- otun and Itele communities that his administration will do everything within its power to relieve the hardship faced by road users in the Council Area.
The Chairman stated this while addressing the leaders of the protesting communities who stormed Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government on Monday, 18th October 2021 in large numbers to register their grievances in respect to the state of roads which are in devastating shapes throughout the aforementioned communities.
He further stated that his administration had been in contact with necessary authorities as regards roads rehabilitation generally in the Council Area.
The Council Boss registered his displeasure as regards the pains the people are going through. He added that, its a very unfortunate situation because of the problem faced by the people of the communities.
Hon. Musa also affirmed that, as soon as the rain subsides, they should expect some palliative measures on the road in order to reduce the hardship. He added that, he will not relent in putting adequate pressure on government primarily concerned, be it State or Federal government about the current state of the roads in the Area.
Earlier speaking, the two Area Community Development Committee Chairmen, Mr Fatunbi Mufutau and Mr kilani Fatai of ikoro otun and itele communities respectively, appreciated the prompt attention given to them by the ever responsive Council Boss .
The Head of Local Government Administration Dr Bamgbose A.O appealed to the community leaders to continue to engage government in dialogue rather than violence.
