AJOSE FOUNDATION: OGUN FIRST LADY REACHES OUT TO PUPILS IN EWEKORO LG

The First Lady and Wife of Ogun State Governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun has been applauded for her tireless and massive efforts in women empowerment, emancipation and children’s programmes in the state and at the Local Government level.
The applauses were given by various speakers at the Flag-off ceremony of the distribution of Ajose Foundation bags with books and cookies to the pupils of Ewekoro Local Government at the exotic conference room of the Council secretariat, Itori.
In his opening remarks, the Executive Chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, (ESKAY), described the kind gesture of Ogun First Lady, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun as the Chistmas and New year’s gift for the children. He therefore, commended Mrs Abiodun for the motherly role she has been playing both at the state and local government levels.
The Council helmsman disclosed that, more pupils would still benefit from the Ajose Foundation’s largesse powered by the Ogun first lady in the next phase.
Hon Adesina used the occasion to also appreciate the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, for the massive turnaround of the Gateway state.
While delivering her speech at the event, the Chairperson and wife of the Council Chairman, Mrs Adebimpe Adesina eulogised, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun for the hands of love extended to the pupils in the Council Area, with the gifts of lofty bags, books and cookies.
Speaking further, Mrs Adesina did not fail to mentioned efforts of the first lady in women empowerment, emancipation and campaign against gender based violence, which had in no small measure brought succour and great relief to many women in Ogun State.
Mrs Adesina, however advised the pupils to devote more time to their studies in order to make themselves future leaders and be good ambassadors of the Local Government.
The highlight of the event was the distribution of Ajose Foundation bags filled with books and cookies to the delightful pupils, while cash gift from the Executive Chairman was equally presented to the representatives of the various schools.
Present at the event are: the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr Adeyanju Akinyemi; Director of Education, Information and Sports, Mr Olopade Sakiru; Director of Community and Social Development, Mrs Olakanmi F. B. and the Executive Secretary, Local Government Education Authority, Alhaja R. A. Akanni.
