100 DAYS IN OFFICE: AMBASSADOR OGUNSOLA PLEDGES FORMIDABLE SUPPORT TO NEWLY ELECTED OOLG NULGE EXECUTIVES

The Chairman Obafemi Owode Local government, Ambassador Adesina Ogunsola has pledged to render formidable support to the newly elected officers of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employee, NULGE, Obafemi Owode Local government Branch led by Comrade Oluwaseyi Kabir, as part of his efforts to put smiles on the faces of workers.

Ambassador Ogunsola stated this at the joint maiden meeting with the Executive Arms, Management team and the newly elected Nulge officers in order to establish a good working relationship and as part of the activities marking the 100 days in office of his Administration, held in his office at the Council Secretariat in Owode.

While advising the newly elected Nulge Excos, Ambassador Ogunsola thanked God on their behalf for their victory during the election which was peaceful, free and fair without any rift, he also urged the Excos not to see those contested with them as enemies, but rather see themselves as God’s favourites for the job.

The Council boss also implored the newly elected Nulge Excos to be good Ambassadors, he appealed to them to build the good name of the Local government and protect the image of their respective families and Career.

Ambassador Ogunsola, while highlighting his score card in the last 100 days, vowed that his regime will continue to render their best at all times and stressed the Council Secretariat’s transformation with several constructions and renovations within the space of 100 days in office.

Ambassador Ogunsola disclosed that Obafemi Owode Local government is now on the internet, whereby the Council activities can be showcased.

Meanwhile the newly elected Chairman, Comrade Oluwaseyi Kabir earlier appreciated the Executive Chairman, Ambassador Ogunsola for the opportunity given to him and his team to serve their people and also demanded provision of some social amenities lacked by the general Staff which includes, renovation of Staff Canteen, distribution of  running water to various offices and appointment of more Junior Staff Cadres amongst others.

Present at the meeting were: The Vice Chairman, Hon. Titus Olusesi; Leader of  Legislative House, Hon. Kayode Akinsola; Director Works & Housing Engr. B.K Alalade; Director General Service and Administration, Mr Oyekan; Director,  Finance and Supply Mr Ebenezer Ekemode; Director Information, Education &Sports, Prince Segun Soneye and other NULGE Executives.
