Anglican Communion, Egba Diocese Of St. Mark’s Anglican Church Eleweran Awards Ogunsola As Fellow

Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre, FCPA, Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government has been added an Award of Meritorious Service and Fellow of St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Olusogo, Eleweran, Abeokuta in recognition of his sterling performance, exceptional contributions towards building a vibrant economic model, sustainable development, peace and stability of Obafemi Owode Local Government.

The conferment of the award, held on Sunday 31st December, 2023 at a service in commemoration of the 3rd Anniversary as a parish church and 35th years Anniversary of the church existence.

Amb. Ogunsola, FCPA, ably represented by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Titus Babatunde Olusesi thanked the church for the recognition of the good works and determination of the council boss in ensuring a fair share in the delivery of service to humanity.

He dedicated the award to the good people of Obafemi Owode local government, for their support all the time.

He further acknowledged the role of the church in preaching love, peace and unity, which has been a pivotal in sustainable developments.

Ven. Dr. Dele Alonge, PH.D, Archdeacon, Obantoko Archdeaconry, commended Amb. Ogunsola for standing tall among his peers.

He prayed for more wisdom and God’s guidance to enable him and his cabinets end well in office.

Some of the awardees included, Hon. Folasade Adeyemi, Executive Chairman, Odeda Local Government; Hon. (Chief) Oluseni Idowu Emmanuel, Education Secretary, Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Obafemi Owode, amongst others.

Also in attendance at the church service are,  Hon. Kayode Dipeolu, Secretary to Local Government; Akogun Fatai Ogundele Head Of Local Government Administration and Prince Segun Soneye, Director, Information.
