The Christian Fellowship of Abeokuta North Local Government recently held its Annual Christmas Carol and End of the Year Thanksgiving Ceremony at the Local Government Hall, Akomoje.

The programme which was organised by the Christian Fellowship in conjunction with the Local Government Council had the Executive Chairman, Prince Adebayo Ayorinde as the Chairman of the occasion.

Hon Ayorinde read the 1st lesson of the Carol Service from the book of Genesis 1:1-5 and he enjoined everyone to be in love with one another as demonstrated in the birth and ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Vice Chairman, Hon Ayoola Oluajo; The Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Mr Babatunde Owolabi and other Principal Officers also read Carol lessons from the Holy Bible.

The Choir entertained the audience with melodious Christmas Songs, as well as Egba and Awori dialect Choruses to the delight of the people.

The main Sermon of the Carol Service delivered by Pastor Ahmed Titus had the theme “Praise” where he emphasized the need to appreciate God for all He has done for all and sundry everyday.

There were also Prophetic Prayer sessions for Nigeria, Ogun State and the Local Government respectively led by Evangelist P. Adelabu.
