APBN Election: ICAN Abeokuta District Society Chairman Congratulates Ogunsanya as APBN  Ogun State Chapter 1st Vice Chairman

The Chairman, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Abeokuta District and Society, Alhaji Wasiu Junaid, FCA, has congratulated Alhaji Femi Ogunsanya, FCA, on his election as the 1st Vice Chairman, Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN), Ogun State Chapter.

Alhaji Femi Ogunsanya, FCA, was elected the 1st Vice Chairman of the Association in a keenly contested election held on Thursday, 2nd November, 2023 at the Ogun State Housing Corporation Conference Hall. He polled a total of 34 votes to defeat his closest challenger, who garnered 26 votes.

In a congratulatory message, Alhaji Junaid wished him a successful tenure of office, he also prayed for wisdom, knowledge and God’s guidance in his new job.

Meanwhile, the election also produced Alhaji Atinuke Musiliu Ebun, FNIM, as the Chairman; Bldr. Eyinfunjowo Sikiru Oladiran, FNIOB, 2nd Vice Chairman and Mr. Muritala Korede Lasisi, FNIS, as Secretary General. Others are Esv. Akintola Matthew Olawale, FNIESV as Assistant Secretary General; Mr. Akintola Akinfemi Sunday, CNA, as Treasurer; Tpl. Oduwole Olalekan Kayode, Financial Secretary and Pharm. Adesina Abiodun Simeon, Publicity Secretary all of whom were returned unopposed.

The elected members have since been inaugurated.
