Arsenal Reclaims Top Spot as Title Race Hots Up, Wallops Chelsea 3-1

The English Premier League title race continues as Arsenal returned to the top of the log, after walloping the Blues by three goals to one at Emirate.
The Blues came at a wrong time, as Gunners were in a killer mood after their scandalous loss to City by four goals to one at Etihad, the loss that threw open the title race.

Though, the Blues lost the game, Kepa Arrizabalaga put up brilliant performance, with Granite Xhaka and Busayo Saka, calling him to duty in the early part of the game.
In the 18th minute, Martin Odegaard broke the deadlock by registering the 1st goal for Arsenal, from Granite Xhaka’s cross. The Blues almost hit back immediately, but goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale denied Ben Chillwell from getting an equalizer.
Gunners, were effective at goalscoring opportunities from the flanks, with larger quality possession as Martin Odegaard once again, increased the tally to two from an assist via Granite Xhaka to the delight of the joyous fans, who were rooting for their darling team to carry the day.
The Frank Lampard’s side that were passive defensively for the better part of the second half, conceded the third goal in the 18th minute through Gabriel Jesus.
However, Chelsea came into the second half in high spirit to redeem their battered image but poor marksmanship robbed them of many goals, scoring his first goal of the season for Chelsea, Noni Madueke, in the 65th minute scored a consolation goal for the Blues.
Thereafter, it was Chelsea all the way but Arsenal stood their ground not to concede any goal that could jeopardize their title aspiration.
With Gunners, currently enjoying the top spot on the EPL log, has Manchester City, that are in fine form to contend with for the title, though City still has two matches in hand.
However, the questions that are begging for answers remain, can City catches up? Or can Arsenal hold on to the top spot?
Certainly, the title race is becoming fierce and it may be a photo finish for the two sides.
