ASLG: Majekodunmi Lays Foundation of Maternity Centre in Abule Oloni, Abeokuta

The Executive Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government, Ake, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi, JP, has laid the foundation stone of a Maternity Centre at Abule Oloni in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Hon. Majekodunmi who earlier promised the community, said that he had come to fulfill the pledge he made with the community last year and assured the community, that in a month time, the Maternity Centre, would be at lintel level.

He further stated that, the purpose of construction of the healthcare in the community is to ensure and promote healthcare aid for the dwellers in the community, noting that healthcare is the bedrock for all forms of advancement in life.

At the event, Alhaji Lateef Sofoluwe, the Chairman Community Development Association, CDA, who also doubled as the Imam of Abule Oloni was enthused of the foundation laying, he described the Council Boss as a promise keeper and also prayed for the speedy accomplishment of the Maternity building.

In attendance were: the Head of the Local Government Administration, Mr. Wole Adeosun; the Supervisors, Consultants and members of staff.
