Be Punctual at your duty post, Ayoade Charges Ewekoro LG Staffs

The Head of Local Government Administration, HOLGA, Ewekoro Local Government, Engr. Ayoade A. A. has charged members of staff of the Council Area to be punctual and regular at their duty posts at all times.
Engr. Ayoade gave the charge while addressing members of staff at the Local government secretariat, Itori.
The astute administrator emphasised the need for them to be alive to their responsibilities to justify the salary they earned.
He explained that, there is dignity in labour, stressing “nothing ventured, nothing gained, and you reap whatever you sow “.
The Local Government Administrator also stressed the importance of corporate dressing to office, in order to earn and be accorded the deserved respect as responsible members of the service.
He admitted that though the situation of things were not palatable but still believed that things could get better once everybody is ready to play his or her role accordingly.
In his words, “The darkest part of the night precedes the day-break”.
Engr. Ayoade reiterated further, the need for the junior staff to develop themselves academically in order to stand the chance of moving to the higher position in the service.
According to him, “Luck is the preparation that meets with the opportunities, so it is expedient to prepare for the opportunities in our daily activities. ”
He also disclosed that, awards in various categories would be instituted to motivate and promote healthy rivalry among diligent, and dedicated staff.
Responding, some members of staff who spoke unanimously appreciated the Holga, Engr. Ayoade for his good disposition and fatherly advice with the promise to turn a new leaf as reliable officers that the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission would be proud of.
