BREAKING:Ogun State Government Reopened  IBEREKODO Market.

Ogun State Government has opened the IBEREKODO market which was shut down last Wednesday to prevent cholera epidemic due to its dirty environment and heaps of refuse within the market.

The market was reopened after it was thoroughly cleaned and the heaps of refuse evacuated by the Ogun State Waste Management Authority OGWAMA.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Environment and CEO of OGWAMA, Mr Ola Oresanya in reopening the market warned the traders against returning the market to its former state which necessitated its closure.

Represented by the  Director of Waste Management, OGWAMA, Mr Akinbode Sofela, he urged them to make cleaniness their watchword as the State Government is desirous of them selling in clean and hygienic environment.

To maintain the New and cleaned environment in the market, the Special Adviser on  Environment handed over the Supervision to the Executive Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon. Prince Adebayo  Ayorinde.

While Speaking, the Council Boss charged the traders to avoid the mistake of the past which led to earlier closure of the Market, urged them to keep their environment clean always.
