
Christian Unity Band of Nigeria President, Pa Gbemiga Ore-Ofe’s Burial Holds on Friday

The burial of late Pa Joseph Oluwagbemiga Ore-ofe, JP, the president, Christian Unity Band of Nigeria, (CUBN), St. James’ Anglican Church, Iperu Remo, will hold on friday, 12th May, 2023.
According to the funeral arrangements released by the family, a burial/thanksgiving service will hold at St. James’ Anglican Church, Sewolu Street, Iperu-Remo, commencing from 11am.
While interment follows immediately at the Anglican cemetery, Sagamu road, Iperu Remo. Guests will thereafter be entertained at the Kesington Adebutu Civic Centre, Ilisan Road, Iperu Remo.
A Service of Songs will be held by the CUBN in honour of its departed president, on Wednesday, 10th May, 2023 at his residence, Jolyon Estate, Iperu Remo, by 5pm. While Christian Wake-keep, similarly holds on Thursday, 11th May, at the Akesan Iperu Club 1954 premises, Atenda, Iperu Remo, by 4pm.
The seventy six year old Pa Ore-ofe, died on Saturday, 11th february, 2023, after a brief illness. He is survived by wives and children.
Born on 11th february, 1947, into the family of late Dr. Julius Abdul Ore-ofe, and Madam Omotowobola Ore-ofe, the deceased was the eight child of his parents, and the only product of the matrimony between his dad and mum.
An accomplished entrepreneur, and astute businessman, he is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Jolyon International Hotel, and Uncle Gbengus Foods and Beverages.
Until his death, Pa Gbemiga Ore-ofe, JP, was a devout christian who used his God-given resources to serve the Lord and humanity in general.
He was a member of the Parish Church Council, Chairman, Harvest Committee, Chairman, Church properties Committee, Member, Men’s Fellowship, and Patron, Morning Star Society, all of St. James’ Anglican Church, Iperu. He was also a member, Diocesan Board and High Society of Fellows of the Remo Anglican Diocese.
