COVID-19 Vaccination: Ado odo/Ota LG Boss Charges The Public on Compliance

The Executive Chairman, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon Sheriff Adewale Musa, has charged the residents of the Area to put in more efforts in getting vaccinated at various government health centres within the Council area and should abide by COVID- 19 protocols in other to be safe from the deadly virus.

Hon. Musa made this statement in his office while receiving health personnels who came to give an update on the Council’s Covid-19 key metrics and trends.

The Local Government Boss further stated that Ado-Odo/Ota Council is working hard to increase the number of vaccinated people including children who are now eligible.

He added that people need to get vaccinated so as to be healthy and  protected from COVID-19 pandemic. “Get your shot today, these vaccines are safe, effective and free” he concluded.

Speaking earlier, the Acting Primary Health Care Department Coordinator Mr Odebode Gbadebo said that, the visit to the Chairman’s office is vital in order to keep him abreast of Covid-19 vaccination exercises.

Mr Odebode further appreciated the Local Government Boss for his support since he assumed office for making the health sector of the Council Area alive in her responsibilities.

Present at the meeting were: the Vice Chairman, Hon. Saidat Olatunbosun Animashaun; Local Immunization Officer, Mr Akinola Akinbo; the State Technical Facilitator, Dr. Israel Orire and other Principal officers of the Local Government.
