Easter: Akeem Ambali Calls for Moderate Celebrations

The National Leadership of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, under the National President, Comrade Akeem Olatunji Ambali, has called Christians Nationwide to exhibit love, sacrifices and celebrate Easter in moderation.

“I urged you on behalf of the National Leadership of our Great Union, NULGE, to let moderation be our watchword in this Season of Easter and Ramadan.

“I also encouraged you to use the season for sober reflection to address the myriads of challenges facing the Country and reassuring you of our desired commitment to Local Government autonomy” Nulge President expressed.

“I strongly enjoin all NULGERIANS both Christians and Muslims to use the unique occasion of Easter and Ramadan to pray for quick passage of Local Government Autonomy by State Houses of Assembly for the betterment of Nigerians and be resolute in actualising the Local Government Autonomy as the Leaders of NULGE will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that both Financial and Administrative autonomy is granted” Ambali stressed.

Ambali also prayed that, may the Power of resurrection work in the life of all, and bring about our desired ambition for the actualisation of the Local Government Autonomy.
