Egnr. Isola Muhammed Abbas, Graciously Bows Out of Service

The Chairman, Ogun State Local Government Service Commission, LGSC, Ms. Olubukunola Onabanjo has described Engr. Muhammed Abbas, as a dedicated staff who gave his best towards the development of the Local government service.

Ms. Onabanjo said this at the valedictory service held in honour of Engr Abbass, the outgoing Director Promotion, Posting and Transfer, Local Government Service Commission.

She described Egnr Abbas, as an highly resourceful, easy going and committed staff, who is going to be missed by all staff of the commission.

She enjoined other staff of the Commission to learn from the good deeds of the retired officer, saying, ” Engr. Abbass is leaving when the ovation is loudest, he will always be a reference point”.

In his own remark, on behalf of the management and staff of the commission, the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Adeolu Olufowobi, described the outgoing Director, as one of the best staff in the commission, who is always available at a beckon.

“He has served in various capacities and he is retiring as the Director in charge of Promotion, Posting and Transfer, Local Government Service Commission” Olufowobi said.

PS Olufowobi, prayed for good health for the retiree and urged him to always continue in good stead, that he is known for while in active service.

While appreciating him for his contributions throughout his stay at the commission, he charged everyone to emulate the good gesture of Engr. Abbas

While reacting to the encomium poured on him, Engr. Abbas thanked the Chairman, LGSC, Ms. Olubukunola Onabanjo, the Full-Time Commissioners, the Permanent Secretary, the directors and other staff of the commission for the honour bestowed on him.

The valedictory service was well attended by the Full-Time Commissioners; the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Adeolu Olufowobi; all the Directors, Deputy Directors, members of Staff and the Information unit of the LGSC.
