EID-EL-FITRI: IFO LG Chairman, Delano Felicitates Muslim Ummah

The Executive Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Hon. Chief (Mrs) Kikelomo Aridunnu Delano, has felicitated all Muslim Faithfuls across the globe particularly those living in the Council Area on the occasion of year 2022 Eid- El- Fitri Celebration.

According to Hon. Delano, the celebration marks the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan 1443A.H in which Muslims observed fasting for thirty days (a month) from dusk to dawn.

She said that, it is a time to be grateful to Allah for all of His heavenly blessings and rewards during the holy month.

She noted that, Ramadan is very significant to the Muslims as one of the major pillars of Islam, which teaches holiness, righteousness and good deeds to the people.

The Council Boss therefore, urged the people to continue to reflect and meditate on the lessons derived from the holy month to guide their path in the site of Allah.

She cautioned them to embrace peace and celebrate festively with moderation and also enjoined them to live in peace and harmony with the believers of other Faith.

While commending the people of Ifo Local Government for their support and cooperation with the government, Hon. Delano reassured residents of her administration’s commitment to good governance and people oriented programmes, policies, and projects.
