
EID-EL-FITRI:Abeokuta South LG Boss, Majekodunmi, Celebrates Muslim Faithfuls

The Executive Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi, (HOAM), JP has celebrated Muslim faithfuls within and outside the Council Area, on the occasion of Eid-el-fitr, which is the celebration of the end of Ramadan 1443A.H year in Islamic Calendar.
Hon. Majekodunmi described the celebration as a way of appreciating Allah and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.W.A) for the strength given to them to complete the 30 days fasting in good health condition and sound minds.
He enjoined all to continue in the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan, which teaches righteousness, holiness and good behaviour.
The Council Chairman, encouraged Muslim faithfuls to celebrate in modesty, imbibe good culture of the Holy Month in the discharge of their day-to-day activities.
He also prayed for peaceful coexistence amongst the citizens in the course of discharging their civic responsibilities as well as security of lives and properties.
