Eid-el-Kabir: Ifo LG Chairman, Hon Delano Felicitates Muslim Ummah

The Executive Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Kikelomo Aridunnu Delano, has felicitated all the Muslim Ummah across the Local government area and around the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The Council boss, in her sallah message, called on the Muslim Ummah to reflect on the good virtues of personal sacrifice as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, in Eld-El-Kabir Sallah celebration.
She charged everyone on the need to remain each other’s keeper which is the panacea for a peaceful Nigeria.
Hon. Delano said Eid-El-Kabir is a time for forgiveness, sober reflection and sacrifice which should also be dedicated to prayers for love and peace to thrive throughout the nation. She encouraged all Muslims to eschew violence and celebrate in moderation.
The council Boss congratulated all Muslim faithfuls on the Eid-el-Kabir celebration and prayed that Almighty Allah will grant all their heart desires and preserve their lives to witness many more celebrations in the land of the living.
She, however, encouraged Nigerians to support the government at all levels by fulfilling their constitutional responsibilities as good citizens and enjoined all residents of the council area to pay their taxes, levies and rates as this is the only way the council can generate revenue for more dividend of democracy to the people at the grassroots.
