EID-EL-KABIR: NASARAWA NUJ FELICITATES WITH MUSLIM FAITHFULS
- The Nasarawa State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) felicitates with Muslim faithful the world over on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The union also felicitates with the government and indeed the entire citizens of the state on this important spiritual engagements.
This period offers Muslims an opportunity for sober reflections as well as an opportunity to offer prayers for unity, mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance amongst all citizens.
The union prayed that God in his infinite mercy will help the country surmount its security, economic and other problems confronting the nation.
The union called on political, traditional, religion leaders and parents to focus attention and put in efforts to restore the lost moral values amongst Nigerians so that people will once again be ashame of doing things contrary to the acceptable values.
On behalf of entire journalists in the state therefore, the leadership of the union appeal to Nigerians to join hands with the government and security agencies to defeat the evil going on in the country, because security for all is a responsible for all.
