EPL : Tough Battle for Crucial Points as Teams Wrap Up Season on a Frenzy Note

The battle for UEFA Champions League Ticket continues unabated as teams jostle for crucial points on the last day of the English Premier League on Sunday.

Manchester City with 90 points from 37 matches is being challenged by Liverpool with 89 points from the same number of matches but with a lesser goal difference is currently sitting comfortably on the second position of the EPL log.

 

The top 4 battle is being keenly contested for as Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are neck to neck on the league table.

A win for Manchester City against the unpredictable Aston Villa will put paid to the Liverpool ambition for the EPL crown.

However, a slip by Manchester City while a win for Liverpool against Wolverhampton wanderers will make them 2021/2022 EPL Champions and keep their hope of winning four trophies this season alive with carling cup and FA cup already in their kitty.

The Pep Guardiola side came out top in a similar tight race in 2018/2019 season.

The top 4 race between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal is more interesting and hope to be fierce.

The Arteta tutored side has an herculean task, playing against Everton that escaped relegation to the Championship by a whisker last Thursday after coming back from two goals deficit to beat Crystal Palace by three goals to two.

The Gunners are no longer having their fate in their own hands as they will be hoping for Norwich to defeat another top 4 contender, Tottenham Hotspur, while it is expected of Arsenal to go all out to pick maximum three points to grab the last slot for the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, provided that Norwich beat Hotspur in their encounter .
