Ewekoro Council Boss, Hon Adesina Swears-in New Supervisors

The Executive Chairman, Ewekoro Local Government, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa has charged the newly sworn – in supervisors to be assiduous in the discharge of their duties.

The Chairman gave the charge during the swearing – in ceremony of the additional supervisors at the Council’s conference room on Monday, 23rd May, 2022.

Hon Adesina advised them to be committed to the success of the current administration, and also urged them to be good ambassadors of the people they represent, in all their dealings, saying, “To whom much is given, much is equally expected “.

The Council helmsman also commended the Vice chairman and all executive members, the Leader and all honourable members of the legislative council; Head of Local Government Administration and all Heads of various departments for doing everything humanly possible to make the job of governance easier and a success.

Hon Adesina used the occasion to appreciate the Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, on behalf of the good people of Ewekoro local government, for his unflinching support to the Council Area; emphasising the on-going rehabilitation of old Itori road as highly commendable.

He promised that his administration would not relent to uphold the vision and mantra of the Ogun State Government, which is “Building our future together”.

Responding on behalf of other supervisors, Hon Olusegun Akanni, gave the assurance of their readiness to perform to their optimal ability as citizens of Ewekoro local government and also pledged their unalloyed loyalty to Hon Adesina Sikiru led administration.

While thanking the dignitaries at the event, the secretary to local government, Mr Adewunmi Okanlawon, expressed the gratitude of the Management team to the guests for gracing the occasion and for being part of the history.

He congratulated the newly sworn – in supervisors and charged them to do their best, in ensuring that they contribute their own quota to the development of the Council Area.
