Ewekoro LG adjudge the best at the 11th Gateway International Trade Fair

The Executive Chairman, Ewekoro Local Government, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa has been commended for his infrastructural development and empowerment programme at the Council Area.

The commendation was made by the President, Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, (OGUNCCIMA), Engr. Oluyomi Olutoye at the Council’s Special day at the 11th Gateway International Trade Fair, 2022, held at  M. K. O. Abiola Trade Fair Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

Engr. Olutoye noted with joy that, Hon Adesina Sikiru led administration had really done well with the track record of achievements within the short period of assumption of office.

Delivering his speech at the event, the Executive Chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, on behalf of the people of the Area, expressed their gratitude to the State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, for the giant strides taken in facilitating development in all facets of lives of the citizenry.

He added that, particularly in farm production on a large scale to meet up with the yearnings of the masses in the area of food supplies, following the adverse effects of the Corona-virus pandemic and activities of herdsmen on the communities.

The Council boss, also appreciated the organiser of the 11th edition of the Gateway Trade Fair, the Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture in collaboration with the Ogun State Government for the laudable programme which has afforded the participating Local Governments to exhibit various agricultural produce that are peculiar to each Local Government.

Hon Adesina used the occasion to intimate the amazing guests at the event about the rich cultural heritage of Ewekoro Local  government.

While presenting the gift to the Council Chairman, the coordinator of the event, Mrs Jumoke Akinlolu, declared Ewekoro Local Government as the best at this year’s trade fair.

Dignitaries were later conducted round the Council’s pavilion for the exhibition of agricultural produce while the ogodo musical band entertained at the event in cultural folk music.
