EWEKORO LG CELEBRATES 2021 CHRISTMAS CAROL OF FIVE LESSONS

—Hon. Adesina promises glamorous 2022 Xmas Carol.

The Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa has promised members of staff a glamorous 2022 Christmas Carol.

Hon Adesina made the promise while speaking during the celebration of 2021 Xmas Carol of 5 lessons, tagged, “HIS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED” at the Council’s Secretariat, Itori.

The Local Govt boss, therefore expressed his displeasure with the low-key celebration, he said the organiser should have planned it better and bigger, saying, “It is worthy of celebration considering its importance and being an annual event .”

He therefore, appreciated the Almighty God with joy, for His protection over both Career and Political functionaries.

Hon Adesina, then, prayed that God in His infinite mercy would sustain everybody to witness 2022 Xmas carol and the fast approaching Christmas and New year.

In his sermon, Pastor Taiwo Badmus, stressed the importance of Christmas Carol, that it is necessary for all human beings, especially christians to praise and celebrate the only begotten Son of God, Jesus, that was offered as sacrifice for the Salvation of the whole world.

The low-key Christmas Carol was not devoid of memorable events as the Ewekoro Local Government Choir treated jubilant members of Staff as well as guests with titillating and sonorous Xmas songs to the admiration of all and sundry.

Also, as part of the activities of the event was the cutting of the cake by the Executive Chairman to mark the colourful day, while Ifo Local Government Choir were also on ground to enlivened the occasion with beautiful rendition of Xmas songs.

The highlight of the event was the reading of the 5th lesson, taken from the book of Luke 1:9-12 by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Adesina Sikiru, while the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Adeyanju Akinyemi read the 4th lesson, taken from the book of Mattew 1:18–25.
