The newly decorated Environmental Health Officers in Ewekoro Local Government have been charged on professional conduct and to make use of prayers and character as major tools to do their job perfectly in order to excel in their chosen career.
The charge was given by the Head Of Local Government Administration, Ewekoro Local Government, Engineer Ayoade A.A. during the decoration of the newly promoted health officers, to reflect their new status.
Engineer Ayoade, stressed that environmental health Officers deal and interact with the public frequently, hence they need to employ the means of taming the aggressive ones in the course of discharging their duties.
” You work with the different people in the world, ensure you use your intuition when you meet with aggressive people in the discharge of your duties. It is certain you will meet them, that is the nature of your job but I pray that God will continue to protect you and get you to your desired destination”, he said.
The astute administrator, enjoined the officers to tap from the wealth of experience of Sanitarian Badejoko, whom he described as very vast and knowledgeable officer.
” You need to learn from him, I have been in the system for so long and I can rate officers in the service, Sanitarian Badejoko is gifted in both formal and informal education, the attitude you have to put in your work to excel is public relations, because you also interact with the public”, Engineer Ayoade explained.
Speaking earlier, the Director of Water and Environmental Sanitation, Ewekoro Local Government, Sanitarian Badejoko A.T., expressed his appreciation to the State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, who deemed it fit to approved the officers’ promotion to the next rank.
In the same vein, Sanitarian Badejoko expressed his gratitude to the Ogun State Local Government service Commission for fast tracking the roll out of the promotion letters.
His words : ” I believe the promotion will spur the officers to better service and productivity”, Sanitarian Badejoko concluded.
While giving vote of thanks on behalf of other decorated officers, Sanitarian Ayedun Anifat, appreciated the Holga, Engineer Ayoade for sparing his time out of his tight schedule, to perform the decoration exercise. She prayed that God Almighty will crown all his endeavors with success.
