Ewekoro LG : Hon Adesina Commissions Landmark Projects to the Admiration of Council’s Citizens

The Executive Chairman, Ewekoro Local Government, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa has pledged that his administration would not relent to deliver quality services to better the lots of the people of the council area in consonance with the agenda of the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, in the bid to compliment his efforts to take Ogun State to greater heights.

Hon Adesina Sikiru made the pledge during the official commissioning of a block of three classrooms and supply of benches and desks at Baptist Day Primary School, Agbon.

The Council’s helmsman emphasized that the comprehensive rehabilitation of the moribund block of classrooms and supply of benches and desks were carried out to have good impact on the pupils and to provide qualitative education in the Area, ad to further motivate the pupils to increase their zeal for learning.

Hon Adesina, reiterated that his administration will continue to support the programme of the State governor, and as well provide good governance to the people of Ewekoro Local Government, to further enhance the efforts to take the state to higher pedestal in line with the mantra of the present administration in the state.

While performing the official commissioning and unveiling of the plaque, the senior special assistant to Governor Dapo Abiodun, (MFR) on housing, Hon Israel Adio Jolaosho, gave kudos to the Council chairman, for his laudable achievements so far.

Hon Jolaosho, therefore advised the council boss to spread the projects across the length and breadth of the area to ensure fairness, justice and equity.

The SSA to the governor, also used the occasion to charge the party faithfuls to work together and assiduously to ensure re-election of Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

He warned them not to underated any party to prevent unwarranted situation
” When we fail, all of us will be outside the system, I have once experience it and I know what it means” he added.

Thereafter, the commissioning train moved to Obada Oko for official commissioning of Late Oba Muftau Olatunji Hamzat Shopping Complex of 17 lock-up shops built by Hon Adesina led administration in conjunction with DINKY CREATIONS.

Welcoming the guests, the Executive Chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, disclosed that, the shopping complex was significantly constructed for the use of the people of the council area to ease their businesses and also to bring quality services closer to the grass root.

The council boss explained that the project would improve the accessibility of both retailers and consumers to various commodities and services needed without much stress of travelling to the cities to acquire their needs.

He further mentioned that, it would increase the number of social amenities in the environment, while it would as well boost the economic condition of the council with positive effect on internally generated revenue.

While unveiling the plaque in commemoration of the event, the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Ganiyu Oladunjoye Hamzat expressed his gratitude to the Council Chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru for the honour of naming the shopping complex after his late father, Oba Muftau Olatunji Hamzat.

Hon Ganiyu Hamzat said he was amazed with the achievements of Hon Adesina led administration despite the paucity of funds.

He, therefore, called on party members, community leaders, royal fathers and the good people of the council area to vote massively for the All Progressive Congress (APC) and ensure re-election bid of Prince Dapo Abiodun, for the second term as governor of Ogun State, so that the people will continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy in all ramifications.

The two events were witnessed by party faithfuls, party stalwarts, royal fathers, community leaders, all the political functionaries and career officers of Ewekoro local Government Area.
