EWEKORO LG WORKERS USHER IN THE NEW YEAR WITH PRAYERS ON THE FIRST WORKING DAY

The members of Staff of Ewekoro Local Government returned to work after the New year holiday with prayers to commit the resumption of the new year (2022) to the able hands of God at the Council Secretariat.
The Prayer session which was organized by the executive members of the Nigeria Union of local Govt Employee, NULGE, Ewekoro branch, had in attendance the enthusiastic members of staff looking radiant with strict adherence to the stipulated covid-19 protocol’s guidelines of maintaining required distance.
The interdenominational prayer session was centered on the hitch free activities within the Local Government, special prayers was also held for the number one citizen of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa and his cabinet as well as the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Adeyanju Akinyemi with all Heads of various departments and the entire staff.
The prayer session, tagged, “Restoration” was conducted by the Imam of Jaguna, Imam Farike Hammad and Pastor Sunday Adeleke.
The highlight of the event was the visit of NULGE Exco members to the Executive Chairman in his office to mark the symbolic, 1st Working Day in Office of Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa for the year 2022.
