First Child Delivery at Oke Egunya Health Center, Majekodunmi gives cash gift, paid hospital bills

Executive Chairman Abeokuta South Local Govt Ake, Hon Omolaja Majekodunmi gave a cash gift to the mother of the first baby delivered at the Oke Egunya Health Center, Ago oba in Abeokuta South Local Govt area of the State.

The Chairman who was accompanied by the former Transition Committee Chairman, Hon. Ayomide Michael Somide, said the cash gift was to support the baby’s mini care. He promised that he would also foot the hospital bill.

The Chairman, Hon. Majekodunmi urged the mother of the new born baby to nuture the child. He appealed to the expectant mothers in the community as well as within the LGA to shun quacks and self medication.

He stressed the need for them to register and attend antenatal clinics for standard medical care

The Council Boss, however, commended the entire medical team for their professional conduct while stressing that his administration will priotize health care service in the Council Area

Mother of the newborn expressed her appreciation for the kind gesture of the Chairman and prayed that God will continue to be his guide.
