GLOBAL HAND WASHING DAY: ODOGBOLU LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN CHARGES PUPILS ON CLEANLINESS

The Executive Chairman, Odogbolu Local Government, Hon Ladejobi Shuaib Adebayo in conjunction with Rotary Club, Ijebu-Ode, has emphasised on the importance of hand washing to the Pupils of the four selected Primary Schools in the Local Government Area.

Hon Ladejobi joined by his Vice, Hon (Mrs) Iretiolu Adenugba visited the four schools recently, which was the Global Hand Washing Day.

The Council Chairman and the Vice Chairman, handled two Primary schools each, assisted by members of the Rotary Club, demonstrated how to wash hands with soap and running water and stressed the needs involved in washing hands to produce healthy bodies and avoid germs from entering their bodies.

The four Public Primary Schools Selected for the programme were, St. Peters Anglican School Imosan, Moslem Primary School Odogbolu, St. John’s Anglican School ,Ososa. and Ansar-Ud-Deen Primary School, Aiyepe.

The Headteachers, Teacher and Pupils of the Selected Schools appreciated the Chairman and his team for selecting their Schools for the programme.

In attendance were: Head of Local Government Administration, Mrs N.B Oshin, Rotarian Dr (Mrs )Ezima Esther and her team, Head of Information, Education and Sport’s Department, Mrs F.Y Metilelu, Adult Education Officer, Mrs A.A Abiodun and the Chairman’s Media Team.
