Governor Abiodun Appoints Two New Permanent Secretaries

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, has approved the appointment of two new Permanent Secretaries to enhance the quality of the State’s Civil/Public Service.
The appointments, based on merit, professionalism, inclusiveness, and seniority, aligned with Section 208(c) of the 1999 Constitution and follow the successful completion of the Ogun State Pipeline Leadership Development Programme.
The new appointees are:
Dr. Ogunsanya Wellington Olaitan, former Director of Planning, Research, and Statistics at the Ogun State Hospitals Management Board. He joined the Civil Service in 1992 and holds an MBBS from the University of Ibadan (1989).
Mr. Abdul Suraj Olubamiro, former State Director of Physiotherapy and Medical Rehabilitation. He joined the Civil Service in 1991 and holds a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy from the University of Lagos (1990) and a postgraduate degree from FUNAAB (2011).
Governor Abiodun urged the new appointees to demonstrate dedication and excellence in their roles, contributing to the “Building Our Future Together” Agenda. The swearing-in ceremony will be announced in due course.
