Governor Dapo Abiodun commends Ewekoro Council Boss, Hon. Adesina Achievements, Commissions Projects

…… lauds Hon. Adesina for changing the face of Ewekoro Local Government
Once again, the executive chairman of Ewekoro Local Government area of Ogun State, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, has been commended for the developmental projects being executed across the length and breadth of the council area.
The commendation was made by the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun , MFR, during the commissioning of 32 Lock up shops and public toilets at Itori, named after, Late Hon. Jelile Adesete in recognition of his contributions to the development and growth of Ewekoro Local Government during his life time.
” It is my pleasure and honour that I am here today, I remember this location as a place where we normally come and campaign but the honourable chairman of this local government, has taken it upon himself with lofty idea of people oriented project, has decided to build these two blocks of 32 Lock up shops and public toilets for the use of our people in this community.
“It is therefore, my honour to commission these lock up shops to the glory of God and for the use of sons and daughters of Ewekoro Local Government” the Governor declared.
In this same vein, Governor Dapo Abiodun, equally, commissioned the newly reconstructed 2km old Lagos – Abeokuta / Itori road in fulfilment of his campaign promises in 2019.
Speaking earlier, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, welcomed the governor and his entourage who are on campaign train through Ewekoro Local Government.
He explained that in the bid to compliment the laudable efforts of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, in improving the lots of the people, he had conceived the idea of constructing the lock up shops in order to boost the economic activities and to also provide the enabling environment for business to thrive which would increase the Internally Generated Revenue of the council in return.
The local government boss, used the occasion to appreciate Prince Dapo Abiodun for turning Ogun State to the investors choice of destination coupled with the laudable projects that cut across all the three senatorial districts in the state.
Expressing his gratitude on behalf of the people of Itori, concerning the reconstruction of the old Lagos-Abeokuta / Itori road, the chairman stated that, it had greatly eased the movement of vehicles and had great impact on the economic viability of Itori township as a whole.
Hon Adesina, therefore appealed to the people of Ogun State, to kindly support the reelection bid of Prince Dapo Abiodun to further move ogun state to greater heights.
Thereafter, the governor and his entourage moved to the colourful and charged campaign ground atmosphere, with the highly and excited party faithfuls, political leaders, royal fathers, community leaders, sons and daughters of the council area.
The people of the council area troup out en-mass to the venue for the second term campaign bid of Prince Dapo Abiodun, in the forthcoming general elections in February, 2023. They were eagerly waiting to hear from the man of the people and enjoy the rave of the moment.
