Hon. Agbetokun Lauds Governor Abiodun For His Disposition Towards Local Govt. Pensioners In Ogun State

The Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Agbetokun Olawale Wasiu(ONIKOYI) has lauded the Ogun state Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun (MFR) for his disposition towards Pensioners in the State since he assumed office.

The Council Boss showered encomiums on the State Governor, when Ogun State Chairman of Local Government Pensioners Association of Nigeria (LOGPAN), Pastor B.A. Ademoye and his team paid him familiarisation visit at Ipokia Local Government Secretariat, on Wednesday, 31st January, 2024.

Hon. Agbetokun stressed that HE, Governor Dapo Abiodun (MFR) has been compassionate on pension matters from the first day he became the Executive Governor of the State and does not handle it with levity. He attributed this to the reason the Pensioners are enjoying in the State.

While Congratulating them for retiring Successfully from the Government Service, Hon. Agbetokun disclosed that his administration has been taking care of Workers in active Service and those that had retired. He cited a plot of land allocated to the Pensioners Association for the Building of their Secretariat.

In his address during the visit, the State Chairman of Ogun State Local Government Pensioners Association of Nigeria, Pastor B.A Ademoye expressed gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun for his magnanimity towards Ogun state Pensioners. He equally commended Hon. Agbetokun for receiving them with Open hands.

Pastor Ademoye also commended Hon. Agbetokun for his remarkable achievements in developing Ipokia Local Government within a short period of time.

However, the State Chairman of LOGPAN, Pastor Ademoye and his team visited the plot of land allocated for the Building of the Association’s Secretariat where congregational prayers were made. Ademoye promises to Commission the project when completed.

Present at the event were Acting HOLGA, Sanitarian Olatunji Olusegun Jelili; Head of Education, Information & Sports Department, Mrs Olumide Esther and Branch Chairman, Ipokia LOGPAN, Chief P.A Owokola.
