Hon. Delano Announces Portfolios for Newly Inaugurated Political Functionaries

The Executive Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Hon. (Chief) Mrs Kikelomo Delano has announced different portfolios for the newly sworn-in Political office holders in the Council Area and urged them to commence work without delay.

Hon. Delano made this known during the maiden management meeting held in her office this morning at the Council Secretariat, Ifo.

According to her statement, Hon. Oladap Adebesin, Vice Chairman, will serve as the Supervisor for Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation; Hon. Wasiu Soyode, Supervisor for Community Development, Social Welfare, Culture, Youth and Women Empowerment; Alhaji Fatai Jinadu, Supervisor for Agricultural and Natural Resources; Mrs Jessica Achulike, Supervisor for Education, Information and Sports and Mrs Anifat Jolaoso, Supervisor for Primary Health Care.

The Council Boss also named Alhaji Wasiu Adeniyi, as the Special Adviser on Primary Health Care; Mr Sunday Adebowale, the Special Adviser on Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation; Comrade Sikiru Abdulraheem as the Special Adviser on Special Duties; while, Mr. Fawad Yusuf and Mr Moses Bankole are consultants on any matter.

She then congratulated them on their appointments and welcomed everyone to the first official duty after their inauguration last Friday and urged them to braze up to the task ahead, which she said, is enormous.

The Secretary to  local government, Hon. Kushimo Olalekan Idris, thanked His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR. the Ogun State Governor and the Chairman for the confidence reposed in them, while, promising not to jeopardize such wonderful opportunity knowing fully that, they were not only the best for the job but, were only favoured.

The meeting had in attendance, the Head of Local Government Administration, Mrs. Taiwo Akintomide; as well as all the Directors and Heads of Department and Internal Auditor, Mrs Titilayo Ademuyiwa.

  • Good morning.İ will like to inform the local government chairperson to come to our rescue in fadunsin community.We are suffering from erosion problem s duevto blockage of road.There iş no lay-out and not even single road plan in the above community.The above area affected are temidirə crescent area of odo esike,shobiyejo st off chief folabi aboaba st and Kuye estate cda area which the st haa not be named.İ want to urge our local government chairrperson to Kindly consult the state government for proper intervention because the erosion has collapsed many houses due to illegal construction blocking the streets thanks ma.
