Hon. Hunye, Emilola-Gazal Solicit Support for Prince Dapo Abiodun Second Term Bid

The Honourable Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperatives, Hon. Abayomi Hunye has applauded the Executive Chairman, Ijebu Ode Local Government, Alhaji Babatunde Emilola-Gazal for all the laudable projects initiated and completed within the space of a year in office.

Hon. Hunye also described the executive chairman as a visionary leader, very articulate, highly cerebral and  resourceful person who is ready to serve and sacrifice everything for the betterment of his people at any given time.

He gave these Commendations during his official visit to Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area, while on a tour of the the Local Government and meeting with the executive members of the Community Development Councils, CDC, along with the Market men and women, at the De Millennium Hall in Itoro, Ijebu Ode on Thursday, October 13th, 2022.

He eulogized Alhaji Emilola-Gazal for fulfilling his promises made during his electioneering campaign which he referred to as “Promise Made and Promise Kept”.

While briefing the gathering about the recently distribution of Transformers to all Local Government Areas in Ogun State, the Honourable Commissioner highlighted the intention of the Executive Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun to ensure that there is stable power supply in every area and town in the State.

He, therefore, urged the beneficiaries to take appropriate care of the Transformers and do the needful in order not to disrupt the good plans of the governor, and added that the people should vote for governor Dapo Abiodun during the forth coming election for continuity.

In the same vein, the executive chairman of Ijebu-Ode Local Government, Alhaji Babatunde Emilola-Gazal, appreciated the Honourable Commissioner for his unrelenting service in complimenting the efforts of the executive governor, in order to deliver the much needed dividend of democracy to the grassroot.

Hon. Gazal, however, assured the Community Development Councils along with the market men and women that there would be an installation of transformer at Oke-Aje Market and also in some parts of the town.

The Council Chairman stressed that, the people should vote wisely and ensure that they support the second term bid of the governor, to enable him to complete the good works, he has started.

Speaking further, the permanent secretary, Ministry of Community Development and Cooperatives, Mr. Fatai Ogunlana appreciated the people in the Communities as well as Market men and women in the Council Area for their co-operation in the quest towards developing the Area.

The Ijebu Ode Zonal Community Development Council Leader, Alhaji (Prince) Adeyemi, in his response, appreciated the governor for the timely distribution of transformers and promised that the transformers would be properly taken care of.

Dignitaries at the events were; Governor Liasion Officer, Mr Sulaimon Oduwole; Alhaji Abdulwahab Oleolo, Eketa Adinni of Ijebuland; Chairman ijebu Ode;  Apostle Folarin Adedipe, Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Ijebu Ode Branch; Alhaja Adunni Wuraola Kuforiji, Otun Iya Oloja, Oke-Aje market; Chief Joseph Nwauza, Baba Oloja, Oke-Aje market amongst others.
