HON. KIKELOMO DELANO, IFO COUNCIL BOSS FLAGS OFF FREE INSECTICIDE TREATED NETS, BAGS ADVOCATE AWARD

The Executive Chairman of Ifo Local Government Hon. Kikelomo Delano was decorated by the Malaria Control officer, Ifo Local Government, Mrs. Busayo Solomom as Net Advocate during the flagg-off of distribution of Insecticidal Treated Net recently at the Local Government Area.

Hon. Kikelomo while responding to the gesture assured the Ogun State Ministry of Health, National Malaria Elimination Team as well as Society for Family Health that her administration will give premium support and collaboration with every effort towards providing adequate access to quality health care delivery at the grassroots level.

The Council boss also declare that the Local Government under her watch will be a model worthy of emulation in the state in commitment and dedication to human-based services and developments.

Hon. KIKELOMO charged both health personnel and ad-hoc staff engaged in the distribution of the net to ensure strict adherence to the guidelines and rules of engagement as outlined during their training, as this would guarantee that the nets get to the target recipients.

She enjoined every beneficiary of the Insecticide Treated Net to make judicious use of it in order to also help roll back Malaria in the society.
