Hon. Majekodunmi pays courtesy visit to Alake Regents, others

The Executive Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government, Ake, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi (HOAM) JP and his cabinet has paid a courtesy visit to the REGENTS of the Paramount Ruler and Alake of Egbaland, Oba Dr. Micheal Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo who was in overseas for his vacation at the time of the visit.
The Council Boss said that he and his team had to visit the palace to express their appreciation and commend the efforts of the Regents for holding forth while Kabiyesi was away on vacation.
He prayed for more strength and wisdom in discharging their duties to continue to direct the affairs of the palace and that of Egbaland.
While responding, the Chairman of the Regents in council, Cheif Fatai Badaru on behalf of Kabiyesi and other members of the Regents appreciated the Chairman and his team for deeming it fit to identify with them even in the absence of the Alake of Egbaland.
Chief Badaru prayed that God will continue to guide and be with the Council Chairman, as he continue to stir the ship of Abeokuta South Local Government to an enviable destination.
The Regents further blessed the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, for a successful tenure of office and also prayed for his victory in the forthcoming election.
In the same vein, the Council Helmsman, Hon Omolaja Majekodunmi, paid a courtesy visit to the former Ogun State All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman and Abeokuta South Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Tajudeen Lemboye in his house at Oke-Ilewo, with other APC leaders – the former Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. (Chief) Olu Odeyemi; Former Councilor representing Ward 5, Hon. Adekanmbi Olugbenga; Rev. Owolabi, and Hon. Salako in attendance.
The Chairman stated that the purpose of their visit was to officially welcome the Party leaders to the mainstream arm of the Party, since factions within the Party have been affecting the ruling Party from moving forward.
He added that, this will allow them to work with synergy in reelecting the number one citizen of Ogun State into power come 2023, because a tree cannot make a forest.
In his response, Alhaji Tajudeen Lemboye, on behalf of the other APC leaders, appreciated the Council Boss for such a visit which he said cannot be forgotten in a hurry. Alhaji Lemboye expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards the Council Chairman for the visit, which he said was timely and orderly.
He further urged the Chairman and his cabinet to open their doors for other members to come into the mainstream, and charged all the Ogun State APC members to work in tandem to speak with one voice.
Similarly, the Council Chairman and number one citizen of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon Majekodunmi, visited the ongoing construction site of the Health Center at Abule Oloni, the construction, which is presently at the linted level.
The Chairman stated that, the visit is expedient for him, in order to inspect the work progress and to know the next thing to do on the project. He, however promised that, work will continue by next week as he cannot wait for the project to be completed.
He stated that the Health Center is part of giving back to the people, the dividend of democracy which is in fulfillment of his electioneering campaign and promised to be a man of his word.
In attendance were the Executives and Legislative arms of Abeokuta South Local Government, Clerk of the House, Mr. Lukman Abati amongst others.
