Hon. Mudashir Spreads out Laudable Projects As Dividends of Democracy Across Ogun Waterside LG, In Celebration of End of Year 2023

The Executive Chairman, Ogun Waterside Local Government, Hon. Mudashir Abdul-Lateef Adekunle has delivered to the people of his Council area lots of dividends of democracy in form of numerous laudable projects across the local government, as an end of the year package.
The projects ranges from the patching of roads as well as clearing of both sizes of the road verges from J4 junction down to Iwopin in order to ease vehicular movement, reduction in the rates of accidents and insecurity amongst many other vices in that corridor during the Yuletide season and beyond.
Another landslide achievements recorded was the first project he embarked on resumption of office which was the renovation of the Administrative building, Executive Chairman’s office and that of the Legislative Chamber which has been in the comatose, with the provision of ultra modern furniture to make the legislative proceedings more convenient, in order to create a conducive atmosphere for official duties.
In addition, the renovation of a block of three classrooms at the Community Primary School, Iwopin can not be overlooked.
He also procured forty-five (45) Hospital Beddings to ameliorate the suffering of the people, renovated the only Grader in a bid to make the grading of Rural roads across the Ten (10) Wards of the Council area easy during the dry season, to make movement of goods and services more easier, he has been doing this, since assumption of office last year.
However, most of these projects are timely, as the indigents of the area across Nigeria and Abroad will be visiting during the yuletide and New year seasons, which will give them the opportunity to witness the achievements of the local government ably led by Hon. Mudashir.
According to the Council’s Supervisor for Works and Housing, Hon. Ogunfuyi Omolara while fielding questions from the Journalists who visited the Council In the new year, the St Mathias Primary School, Ilusin, the entire Local Government Secretariat and the Health Centre in Ita Ogun, along Ibiade will wear new look courtesy of the present regime.
The Supervisor for Works and Housing in the local government, Hon. Ogunfuyi Omolara, while fielding questions from the Journalists who visited the Council Secretariat, said about eight months ago, owing to the activities of desecrated elements who carted away High Tension Cables that brought energy to the entire local government, the Council Chairman magnanimously procured 120 pieces of Solar Powered Streetlight with Galvanized Pipes and installed 10 pieces to each ward as first phase, with the sole aim of illuminating the entire council area.
“Considering the result achieved through such singular efforts in the first phase, he then procured yet another (500) units of Solar lights with poles to be installed across the local government. We all know that power supply has been a major challenge to the local government for decades and with this newly purchased solar street lights, the nooks and crannies of each ward is expected to be brightened at night. Gone are the days when we walk through the streets of Ogun Waterside in darkness. We hope our people coming home for festivities can as well feel sigh of relief during their short stay,” Ogunfuyi explained.
Speaking at a meeting with Transportation Unions Executives, the local government boss, Hon Mudashir, advised and pleaded with drivers to drive safely during this time of the year because of the weather conditions caused by the harmattan season, while wishing all Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year in advance.
