Hon Oresanya Oregbemi, Councilor in Ijebu-ode LG Empowers Farmers

The Councilor representing Ward 10, Isiwo in Ijebu Ode Local Government, Hon. Oresanya Oregbemi has empowered the farmers in his ward, on Saturday, 14th May, 2022.

The Councilor who hails from Odo – Asonyin Community in Isiwo presents different dividends of democracy to his people.

Among the dividends of democracy delivered to his ward, ranges from cash gifts, provision of Solar powered lights, 25 sprayers for the cash crops farmers and 250 (14 weeks old) chicken to 50 poultry farmers with 50 bags of chicken feeds.

The Olori – Ilu of Odo – Asonyin, Chief Emmanuel Ademuyiwa Adegaye appreciated Hon. Oregbemi for his thoughtfulness at improving the lives of the people at grassroots level.

He advised the beneficiaries to reciprocate this impactful gesture by ensuring to vote for Prince Dapo Abiodun for second term, as the Executive Governor of the State at the forthcoming general elections.

The Ward chairman, Chief Odunayo Adefala in his own speech thanked the people for not disappointing him, in the last Local Government Elections in which Hon. Oregbemi was massively voted for as Councilor representing the ward.

Chief Adefala stated that, he is so delighted that Hon. Oregbemi has been showing always that, he has the interest of his people at heart by doing wonderfully well since he assumed office last year July.

Hon. Olusola Ikuewure, who represented Lamodi of Isiwo at the event, also spoke extensively on the developments that Hon. Oregbemi had brought to Isiwo communities during the short period he was sworn – in as the Councilor representing the ward.

A representative of Ogbu’ja Olu – Isa of Ijebu Ode, Otunba Oladipo Adeokun eulogised Hon. Oregbemi for his kindness, uprightness and humility which had endeared him so much to his followers in Odo – Asonyin in particular and the entire Ward 10.

Hon. Moruf Olalekan who represented the Executive Chairman of Ijebu Ode Local Government, Alhaji Emilola Babatunde Gazal at the empowerment programme also brought goodwill messages from the Chairman to the good people in Ward 10, Isiwo and host of other communities in the Ward.

While thanking all the invited guests and the people present at the programme, Hon. Oresanya Oregbemi promised not to relent on his efforts towards the development of Ward 10 and also pledged that many more infrastructural developments shall be ushered into the communities as soon as rainy season stops.
