Ifo LG Boss, Kikelomo Delano, Commissions Borehole at Olomowewe, Reiterates Commitment to Grassroots Development

The Executive Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Kikelomo Aridunnu Delano, has reiterated her commitment to all round development at the grassroot level.
Hon. Delano made this pledge while commissioning a Borehole project and Power Generator executed by her administration at Community health centre, Baale Ajoji, Olomowewe, in Ward 7 of the Council Area.
Speaking at the event held on Wednesday, 21st June, 2023, the Council boss stated that, the water project would serve as a reprieve to the long-time stress of scouting for water within the entire community.
She, however, charged the people in the area to put the facility to good and effective use and ensure adequate maintenance.
According to her, the Borehole project is in furtherance of a genuine commitment and dedication to grassroot development.
Delano equally emphasised her administration’s resolve to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people.
She added that, her administration has embarked on massive projects which are aimed at making life more meaningful to the people, such projects include the construction of Culvert at Robiyan also in Ward 7 of the Council, grading of several Kilometres of roads across the Local Government Area; Security, Women and Youth Empowerment which remain the priority of her administration.
Elder Raphael Awe and Alhaji Bola Teriba, among other Community Leaders and residents of the Area commended the excellent performances of the Chairman since assumption of office. They also prayed for the success of the current administration at all levels.
Dignitaries present at the event were the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Olanrewaju Adeleye and other Councillors, Supervisors and other members of the Executive Council. Others are Prince Peter Oyinloye Akanji, Elder Raphael Awe, Pastor Timothy Oyedeji, Chief Oladapo Taylor, Amb. Ibrahim Oyinloye and Prince Joseph Adetesho among many others.
