IFO LG: COMRADE JIMOH ALIU LED NULGE EXCO CELEBRATES 730 DAYS IN OFFICE

The Comrade Jimoh Aliu Babatunde led Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) EXCO in lfo Local Government has celebrated its two years (730days) in office.

The three-day event commenced on Monday 30th October and ended on Wednesday, 1st November, 2023.

The event was flagged off with an interdenominational prayer on Monday 30th October 2023. Other activities for the day were free medical check-up for all staffers of the Council Area and the unveiling of the renovated staff canteen.

In his welcome address comrade Jimoh appreciated the Almighty God, the management of lfo Local Government ably led by Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Kikelomo Aridunu Delano for the unflinching support for his administration. He equally expressed his deep appreciation to the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Akinyemi Adeyanju for his fatherly role, while also thanking the National and State Excos of NULGE as well as members of his EXCO.

The NULGE Chairman, Comrade Jimoh Aliu Babatunde seized the opportunity to list his achievements in office in the last two years. According to him, his achievements included, organizing a colourful end of the year party, improved socio economic well-being as well as provision of other social welfare package.

The celebration continued on Tuesday, 31st October, 2023 with a tour of Area Offices and Health Centers across the Council Area with Agbado as the pilot Area office. The Nulge Exco also seized the opportunity to present free Wall Clocks to all the Health facilities and free souvenirs to all staff members.

The three-day event was rounded off with a Novelty football match between the staff of Ifo Local Government and that of the Local Government Education Authority (LGEA).

Speaking at the Lameda open field, the venue of the Novelty match, the Ifo Local Government Chairman, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Kikelomo Aridunu Delano who kicked off the match, commended the NULGE EXCO for their achievements in office, she equally promised a cash gift for the winner of the football match.

Other members of the Union Exco are, Comrade Ogunkoya Tunde, Vice Chairman; Comrade Kehinde Wasiu, Branch Secretary; Comrade Adio Azeez, Branch Asst. Secretary; Comrade Adekoya Abosede, Chairperson and Comrade Ajayi Sunday, Young Worker.
