
Ifo LG Promotes, Converts Staff for Better Performances

The management of Ifo Local Government has concluded the year 2020 Promotion/Conversion exercise for all the junior staff members of the Council area on Wednesday, 6th July 2022, at the Secretariat’s Conference room as part of efforts to motivate them and enhance productivity in service.
The Council’s Junior Staff Management Committee, JSMC, Chairman and Director, General Services and Administration, Mr Babatunde Adesina, expressed the Council’s appreciation to the team from the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission, under the able leadership of Ms. Olivia Olubukunla Onabanjo for her prompt approval for the excersise and her show of love and kind heartedness to the entire Local Government workforce in the State.
Mr Adesina also commended the resilience, doggedness and commitment of the Executive Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Hon. Kikelomo Aridunnu Delano, for releasing the much needed funds to prosecute the Promotion/Conversion exercise, noting that, she has been a pillar and compassionate towards the worker’s welfare.
The LGSC Chairman, ably represented by Mr Babatunde Owolabi, Director, Promotion, Posting and Transfer, stated that the entire staff are to understand and catch up with the vision, mission and core values of the Local government service commission.
He stressed that, in order to boost the morale and motivate the entire workforce, the commission has initiated a quarterly Award for the Best staff in the Service, adding that, the Commission still frown at indiscipline, misconduct, and truancy at work.
He then urged members of staff to imbibe the usual culture of punctuality and commitment to work.
Those in attendance at the exercise are the Director, Manpower Development, LGSC, Mr. Segun Ogunjobi, All Directors/Heads of Departments who are members of the JSMC and Assistant Directors from the LGSC.
