Ifo Local Government Chairman, Hon. Kikelomo Delano Congratulates Nigerians on New Year

In the mood of the season, the Executive Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Kikelomo Aridunnu Delano has congratulated all indigenes and residents of the Council Area and Nigerians at large for making it to the new year 2023.

The Council boss, said “I want to specially wish you all a happy new year”. She then prayed that the year will be a prosperous one, in which all the heart desires of the people will be answered by God.

Hon. Kikelomo Delano also enjoined the residents of the Council Area to continue to cooperate with her administration by paying their rates and levies in order to continue to deliver the much needed dividends of democracy to them in the new year.

She added that, her resolve in the new year is to transform Ifo Local Government into a council of envy by others, by embarking on developmental projects and programmes that will have positive impact on the lives of the people at the grassroots.

The Council boss however, implored the electorates in Ifo Local Government, to start the year with a focus on the forthcoming general elections and vote for credible leaders, saying only this way the Nigeria of their dream would come to pass.

She also encouraged them to shun vote buying and actions capable of causing disharmony and undermining a peaceful, free and fair elections.
