IFO LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHIEF EXECUTIVE, HON. KIKELOMO DELANO HOST AMOTEKUN SECURITY CORPS

The Executive Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Hon Kikelomo Delano, has received members of Amotekun Security Corps, at the Council  Secretariat on a courtesy visit to the Local Government Boss recently.

The delegation, according to their leader, Mr. Olaseinde Akinola were at the Council to discuss how the Security formation impact can be felt in the Council Area.

The Amotekun Corp members used the opportunity of the visit to request the pleasure of the Council Boss for a befitting office for their operation in and around the Local Government Area.

Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Kikelomo Delano responded by emphasizing the importance of Security in governance. According to her, “the Primary function of any government is the Security of lives and properties of its citizens”.

It is on this premise that she did not waste time in granting the request of the Security Corps by allocating a place for their operation within the Local Government Secretariat.

The Leader of the Security Corps was full of praises to the Council Chairman, for her prompt attention to the request of the Security outfit. He promised that the Corps will do all within their ability in conjunction with other relevant Security Agencies to secure lives and properties of the people in the local government Area
